Alertflare

Alerts from your code, straight to your iPhone.

Send a push notification from any script, cron job, server or watcher with one HTTPS request. Urgent alerts break through with sound and stay pinned until you deal with them.

How it works

Three steps from a script to your lock screen.

Add a source

In the app, create a source for each thing that sends alerts, like a stock watcher or a backup job, and copy its API token.

Send one request

POST a title, an optional body and a priority to the API from any language that can make an HTTPS request.

Get the alert

It arrives on your iPhones within seconds, with a link, an image or a list of items if you send them, and stays in your history.

# Send an urgent alert from any shell
curl -sS -X POST https://api.alertflare.app/v1/notify \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $NOTIFY_TOKEN" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"title":"Switch 2 in stock","priority":"urgent","url":"https://example.com/p/1"}'

Built for alerts that matter

Quiet when it should be, impossible to miss when it counts.

Urgent or info

Urgent alerts arrive as Time-Sensitive notifications with a sound, can repeat right away and remind you until you open them. Info alerts arrive quietly.

Per-device routing

Choose which alerts reach which iPhone, and set quiet hours per device so info alerts wait until morning.

A real history

Every alert is kept in the app with its delivery status, so a missed or dismissed notification is never lost.

Links, images and lists

Attach a link, an image, or a list of items, like every product that just restocked, to a single alert.
